Day 1

Day 1 – Journey to Amish Country
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenery as we travel north through Illinois into Indiana’s peaceful countryside. After arriving in Shipshewana, we check in at the welcoming Blue Gate Inn before heading out for a truly special evening.
Tonight, step inside Amish culture with an authentic in-home dinner at A Taste of Shipshewana. You’ll enjoy a hearty home-cooked meal, watch a traditional bread-making demonstration, and even take a fresh loaf home with you. It’s a warm and memorable introduction to the simple pleasures of Amish life.

Day 2

Day 2 – Vintage Finds & Creative Fun
After breakfast, we head to the highly anticipated Ship-Chic Craft & Vintage Show, a curated market filled with vintage treasures, handmade goods, boutique clothing, seasonal décor, jewelry, baked treats, and so much more. Whether you’re searching for the perfect statement piece or simply soaking in the festive atmosphere, this market is a shopper’s dream.
Next, we visit Teaberry Wood Products, where you’ll enjoy a hands-on workshop creating your own handcrafted basket to take home, a unique keepsake from your Amish Country adventure.
This afternoon we explore Davis Mercantile, home to over 20 charming shops spread across four levels, offering everything from quilts and home décor to sweets and specialty foods.
After time to relax at the hotel, we gather for dinner at the Blue Gate Restaurant before an evening of nostalgic entertainment at the Blue Gate Theatre. The lively show Salute to the Stars: Remembering the Legends celebrates the music of Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn, and Elvis Presley in a high-energy tribute filled with classic hits and timeless stories.

Day 3

Day 3 – A Sweet Farewell
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before we begin our journey home, traveling through the Midwest with time to relax and reflect on a weekend filled with charming discoveries, laughter, and new friendships. We arrive home with shopping bags full of treasures and hearts full of cozy fall memories.
