Now imagine taking it all in from the deck of a real paddlewheel riverboat, cool breeze on your face, a cup of coffee in hand, while the music of six decades drifts across the water.
That’s exactly what awaits you aboard the Celebration Belle on our Fall Foliage cruise.
The moment you step on board, you’ll be welcomed with warm, homemade sticky rolls and fresh fruit — the perfect way to start the morning. From there, settle into your seat as the Belle eases away from the dock and the scenery begins to unfold: limestone bluffs, wooded shoreline, herons and eagles that call this stretch of river home. A knowledgeable narrator will share the history and legends of the Mississippi along the way, pointing out the sights so you don’t miss a thing.
And then there’s the music. From the big band swing of the 1940s to country classics and rock and roll favorites, our live entertainment will have something for everyone. Tap your toes, sing along, or get up and dance right there on the water — the choice is yours. It’s the soundtrack of a lifetime, played out against one of the most beautiful backdrops in the Midwest.
As the morning turns to afternoon, you’ll be treated to a full plated lunch prepared right on board: tender marinated chicken, creamy Alfredo pasta with vegetables, homemade garlic mashed potatoes and chicken gravy, a hot vegetable, a crisp tossed spring salad, warm rolls and butter, and a dessert to finish it all off, along with coffee and iced tea. (Menu subject to change.) For those who’d like something extra, a cash bar offers soft drinks and cocktails throughout the cruise.
Before you disembark, take a stroll up to the third deck and browse the gift shop for a keepsake to remember the day — and don’t forget your camera. The fall colors along this stretch of the Mississippi are the kind you’ll want to capture and keep.
This is a full day of scenery, music, food, and fun — all without having to drive, park, or plan a thing. We’ll take care of the details; all you have to do is show up and enjoy the ride.
Level 1: Easy
Expectations: Little to no walking. Traveling at a leisurely pace, this itinerary requires a small amount of physical activity. Depending on the itinerary details, guests will need to be prepared to board a motorcoach, and possibly a boat, ferry, ship or plane. There will be some walking to rooms, cabins or restaurants and general points of interest. This may also include an occasional flight of stairs or some steps during transfers and stops.
Appropriate for: All travelers including those with lower mobility and who are comfortable participating in at least three hours of activity per day.
Deposit & Final Payment: A $50 deposit per person is required within one week of reservation. Must be paid in full by September 16, 2026.
No refunds will be issued after 5:00pm on September 16, 2026.

A final departure letter packet will be sent approximately 7 to 10 days prior to the departure date. This will contain the scheduled departure times and locations, as well as other important information in regards to your upcoming tour. If the tour involves overnight accommodations, luggage tags will be provided as well.
Windstar Travel, parking lot owners and shopping center management assume and accept no responsibility for the safety of your vehicle or its contents at the place of departure. If you choose to park and leave your vehicle there, you do so willingly and at your own risk. If you choose to leave your vehicle, please park only in the areas designated in your final tour information packet. Vehicles not parked in the indicated areas may be subject to towing and all expenses incurred are the responsibility of the owner.
