As travelers’ arrival times vary greatly, we have no group activities planned during the day. Enjoy dinner on your own tonight.

Day 2: Thursday, August 26, 2027 Fairbanks - Denali National Park Step aboard the popular Sternwheeler Discovery, an unforgettable journey showcasing Alaska’s diverse culture and rich history. Make stops along the way to meet the people and get a taste of local life. Take a scenic motor coach ride to Denali National Park. Tonight, enjoy a musical performance that tells the story of the first brave men to summit Denali, followed by dinner. (B, L, D)

Day 3: Friday, August 27, 2027 Denali National Park This morning, travel deep into Denali National Park on the Tundra Wilderness Tour, which affords the best opportunities to view the region’s wildlife. Learn about the history of the park and see why Denali is one of the top three reasons that people visit Alaska. The remainder of the day is at leisure. (B)

Day 4: Saturday, August 28, 2027 Denali National Park - Talkeetna Your day begins with a scenic train ride to Talkeetna. Savor every moment inside your luxury domed railcar. View the incredible landscape from glass-ceiling railcars and open-air observation platforms as rail guides provide expert commentary. Check into the iconic Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge, perched on a ridge offering unforgettable views of Denali. (B)

Day 5: Sunday, August 29, 2027 Talkeetna - Anchorage - Whittier - Board Cruise Ship Depart for your ship, stopping en route in Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city. Continue with a scenic drive along the Chugach Mountains. Drive along the Turnagain Arm to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Discover where orphaned or injured bears, wolves, porcupines, and moose are cared for in a 200-acre rehabilitation site. Arrive in the port of Whittier where you’ll embark on your 7-night Holland America cruise aboard a fabulous floating resort designed to make your stay on board truly memorable. Day 12: Sunday, September 5, 2027 Vancouver, B.C. - Disembark Cruise Your cruise ends this morning in the vibrant Canadian city of Vancouver. Ascend Grouse Mountain on an enclosed gondola and take in panoramic views while you enjoy lunch on the peak of Vancouver. Join a private ranger-led tour to meet two grizzly bears that were rescued in 2001. Later, stop at beautiful Stanley Park, Canada’s renowned urban rainforest. Follow the park’s famous seawall and encounter mountain views along trails, beaches, historical landmarks, and colorful gardens. (B, L)

Day 13: Monday, September 6, 2027 Vancouver, BC - Tour Ends Your tour comes to a close, leaving you with many wonderful memories of your tour to the last of the great frontiers. (B)

The overall activity level of this tour is a level 1. This means youre a leisurely traveler. You typically take it easy and discover the energy of a new place by people-watching or soaking in the atmosphere at a local café. You can climb at least one flight of stairs, board a coach, and walk unassisted at a relaxed pace for up to 60 minutes without difficulty. You can easily handle altitudes up to 5,000 feet.

State-issued drivers licenses and IDs that are not REAL ID compliant are no longer accepted as valid forms of identification at airports. Any fees associated with changing a reservation resulting from a non-compliant identification will be the responsibility of the traveler. Passports are required for this tour at your expense. Certain countries require that your passport be valid at least 6 months beyond the dates of your travel. IMPORTANT: We recommend that travelers take a photocopy of their passport and applicable visas. It should be packed separately from your actual passport and visa. We also recommend leaving a copy at home with your emergency contact.
Collette will provide all necessary information, updates, and supporting documents for your travel requirements, including visa and Electronic Travel Authorizations (ETAs), if required, approximately 60-90 days prior to your departure.
A deposit of $898 per person is due upon reservation. Reservations are made on a first come, first served basis. Reservations made after the seat reduction date of October 18, 2026 are based upon availability. Final payment due by April 27, 2027. Deposits are refundable up until October 25, 2026.

Cash, checks, credit/debit cards and money orders are accepted. Make checks payable to Windstar and mail to 3211 Division Street, Burlington, IA 52601. There is a $30 fee for insufficient funds or returned checks. Credit/debit card payments (Visa, Mastercard and Discover) are subject to a 3% processing fee.
Windstar Travel, parking lot owners and shopping center management assume and accept no responsibility for the safety of your vehicle or its contents at the place of departure. If you choose to park and leave your vehicle there, you do so willingly and at your own risk. If you choose to leave your vehicle, please park only in the areas designated in your final tour information packet. Vehicles not parked in the indicated areas may be subject to towing and all expenses incurred are the responsibility of the owner.
